Shipping & Returns Policy

1. Dispatch
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment reflecting in our account. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day. You’ll receive a confirmation with tracking details once your order leaves our warehouse.
2. Delivery Options
We offer the following delivery methods, selected based on order size and destination:
- PUDO (locker-to-locker or locker-to-door): Our primary courier partner. Delivery typically takes 2–4 business days to most major centres. Rates depend on parcel size and destination locker.
- Other couriers: For larger orders, bulk shipments, or destinations not serviced by PUDO, we arrange delivery through alternative courier partners. Rates and timeframes are quoted per order.
- Customer collection: You’re welcome to collect from our warehouse at no charge. We’ll confirm a collection slot once your order is ready.
3. Delivery Terms
The following terms apply to all shipments:
Timeframes
Estimated transit times are guidelines, not guarantees. Delays caused by courier networks, load shedding, or weather fall outside our control.
Risk & Title
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. Title passes once payment has cleared in full.
Incorrect addresses: Please double-check delivery details at checkout. Re-delivery charges arising from incorrect or incomplete addresses are for the customer’s account.
4. Return Window
You may request a return within 7 days of receipt. Requests received after this period cannot be accepted. Transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photos.
5. What Qualifies for a Return
We accept returns in the following circumstances:
- Manufacturing defects: Cracks, chips, malformed threads, or lid mismatches.
- Damage in transit: Reported within 48 hours of delivery, with clear photos.
- Incorrect items shipped: Wrong SKU, wrong colour, or wrong quantity.
What does not qualify:
- Used, decorated, labelled, or filled containers.
- Items damaged after delivery through handling, storage, or use.
- Custom or pre-ordered items (unless defective).
- Change-of-mind returns on bulk or wholesale orders.
6. How to Request a Return
Email returns@mabirapack.co.za within 7 days of delivery with:
• Your order number • SKU and quantity affected • Clear photos of the defect or damage • A brief description of the issue.
We’ll respond within 2 business days with a return authorisation and collection arrangements. Mabira Pack covers return shipping for verified defects, transit damage, or incorrect items shipped. Please do not return goods at your own expense without authorisation, as we may not be able to reimburse you.
7. Refunds, Replacements & Credits
Once we receive and inspect the returned goods, you may choose one of the following resolutions:
Replacement
Replacement of the affected items, subject to stock availability.
Credit or Refund
Credit against a future order, or a refund to your original payment method.
Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of approval. EFT refunds may take an additional 1–3 business days to reflect.
8. Short Shipments & Missing Items
If your order arrives short or with missing items, notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll verify against our dispatch records and ship the balance at no charge.
